I can just see you and Miss Arse trying to ninja those turkeys down the street quietly, in the pale light of sunrise, with J watching, laughing, and taking pictures! What a great idea and I'm jealous of you for having such a terrific mom!

If you DO decide on the cooler thing, those styrofoam (they're almost disposable) coolers only cost a couple of dollars. But I think the turkeys will be just fine for a couple of hours. Better make sure the neighbors haven't gone out of town or something though!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6426523797653322842.post-33667631241759994542009-11-20T14:00:17.615-05:002009-11-20T14:00:17.615-05:00Miss you....

I admit to playing kind of loosey-goosey with frozen food, but I'd think the turkey will be just fine. In 2 or 3 hours it will just barely be starting to thaw, anyway, and perfectly safe to throw back in the freezer, even.Robin in Montanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10975353606677130638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6426523797653322842.post-18550841247061465812009-11-18T08:17:10.008-05:002009-11-18T08:17:10.008-05:00cupcake, that's such a nice thing to do!
Rebe...cupcake, that's such a nice thing to do!

Rebecca, I never thought of using a little cooler...I guess we could but, to be honest, since this wasn't a planned thing I'd prefer not putting more money into it if I can avoid it. We figured an a couple of hours before people leave for school and work should still be safe and they'd find it when they left the house. I'm just second-guessing even that much time out in the air, though.

Kathleen, we aren't going to ring the bell. We can't run *that fast. ;-) And everything will be factory sealed, the turkey being the only thing that requires refrigeration and it'll shrink-wrapped and frozen. That would still bother you? Hmmm. I don't want anyone to be concerned.
And thanks, Dawn. :-)Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13502047590236410856noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6426523797653322842.post-1101973190837122152009-11-18T01:40:00.135-05:002009-11-18T01:40:00.135-05:00Wow AP!
